Crafted mainly by women from sections of root from the River Red Gum and sometimes Mulga wood.
The Punu are decorated with Walka designs burnt into the wood with heated wire on a fire. These artefacts come from various APY Lands communities (central Australia), Warburton and Warakurna in Western Australia.
Piti - traditional bowl for carrying food and water.
Kanyilpa - smaller than the piti and is used for sifting grass seeds for food.
Wira - the smallest of the bowls used to scoop water and a digging aid. Made from Blood Wood or Red River Gum.
Music Sticks - used by men and women during ceremonies and made from Eucalyptus or Mulga wood.
